About The A.M.B.A.


The American Meishan Breeders Association is a Tennessee Corporation founded in October 2016. The A.M.B.A. is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Meishan Breed and its Member Breeders in the United States and Canada.  The A.M.B.A. also has secured a number of certification and trade marks related to the Meishan breed of pig.

Active members in good standing of the A.M.B.A. have a limited license to use these marks subject to the restrictions defined by the directors of the A.M.B.A. The A.M.B.A. offers several levels of membership to those currently breeding Meishans  and to those considering adding the breed to their farm model. These include a low cost trial membership .Portions of this website  require membership for full access or utility. Other portions however are be open to the public to serve as a knowledge base for anyone seeking accurate information on the Meishan breed.
